Bloodstone Heart is the forth book in the Blood series by Tolles and it certainly does not disappoint!This book introduces us to two new characters. Josh, an young man who is able to hear everyone's thought and does not know how to turn them off. And Lanie, a young woman who can see the history of an object simply by touching it.
Josh and Lanie connect during a change encounter at a corner store and begin their journey to save themselves from Vampires and loneliness.
A few chapters in, Josh and Lanie connect with the series characters who are still located in California. And after awhile the story collides with the ending of the third book.
I really enjoyed how Tolles made book three and four over lap and then meet up. In book three, it was very easy to wonder why the girls did not go to Connecticut to help Darby and Devon in their time of need. But after reading book four the reader now understands what else was going on in their lives.
Once again, I was very pleased with how the story keeps moving forward and does not drag on. It was another page turner and I am looking forward to book five.
Keep it up Tolles! I recommend this book to anyone over the age of 15 interested in Vampire, Werewolf adventures.

One of those books u just cant put down! It keeps your interest till the very end. I loved it!
I was alittle confused at the beging with a new charaters but, I was quickly drawn to them and loved the new gift that was brought into this 4th book. I was even more excited to hear the news of Darby and Devan later in the book had to say I actually cryed. The only disapointment I have is that the next book isn't out yet and I am biting at my nails waiting for it's release.
I was vastly dissapointed with this series of books. They had much potential, and reviews looked good. Which is why I am writing this one. I didn't finish the first of the series. I started reading this one as my supply of books to read until my next payday is dwindling. (Did not realize it was the 4th book of the series as it wasn't labeled as such by ).
The story between Josh and Melanie started out ok. Thought it was better than the craziness I read in the first book where everyone was falling in love with each other upon sight...Though it was much of the same for Josh and Lanie even if they weren't admitting to it. Their dialogue wasn't as ridiculous and the other characters' dialogues. Until of course, they came into contact with the original characters from the first book. Ugh. Here we go again.
I couldn't even finish reading some of what they were saying. People don't talk like that and I found it annoying as heck. Then the story ventures away from what gave it any appeal. Josh and Melanie are forgotten and we're lead into other character's "adventures"...ummm...stop it. Don't introduce me someone you will expand on in your next book because there is no way I am ever reading another book by this author.
Just horrible.
T. Lynne Tolles does it again with book four. In this delightful tale we get to meet two new wonderful characters, Josh and Melanie. Two very unique characters with some very different abilities. I fell in love with two new members that added depth and intrigue to this wonderful series. Miss Tolles herself has a wonderful ability in creating characters that have you routing for them from the moment they appear. I highly recommend this book to fans of vampires, werewolves, witches and other supernatural beings. Sequel, Please for these new characters! )
